Duration & Appointment Timing
Allow 45 to 60 minutes, depending on your hair length, thickness and whether you are having a restyle. First visits or significant changes may take a little longer so we can consult properly and fine-tune the shape.
Booking colour too? Schedule colour services first, then add a cut and blow-dry to perfect the result on the day.
Aftercare & Maintenance
To keep the shape, plan every 6 to 8 weeks for shorter or layered cuts, and 8 to 12 weeks for longer lengths. Fringe trims can be booked between visits if needed.
At home, use heat protection, rough-dry the roots for lift, then smooth mid-lengths and ends with a brush. Finish with a cool shot to set the movement and add shine. We will give you simple styling tips so your hair looks salon-fresh for longer.

I was recommended to come here after asking on Facebook, I booked and it was very easy to get an appointment which was lovely. When I arrived, it took a while for my stylist to greet me. I explained what I was looking for (which was a big hair cut) and showed photos of what my aim was. Now, im not sure if the stylist wasnt confident in completing the hair cut, but essentially I wanted an inverted long bob with short layers. I tried to make conversation throughout the appointment, even hinting that I would like my hair coloured at some stage, but the stylist didnt really talk too much and didnt make me feel at ease or relaxed. When the cut was coming to a finish, everyone around the salon was closing up, closing blinds, sweeping and mopping which made me feel guilty for the length of time I was there. I needed to use the toilet after my service but felt awful having to ask because they all obviously wanted to lock up for the night. I didnt really get to look at my hair cut. If I did, I would have noticed that the back of my hair was longer than the front, there were no layers, it was lopsided and the haircut reminded me very much of something my mum did to me in primary school because hairdressers were too expensive. I am gutted that this was my first experience of a hair dresser since 2021.

I’m behond happy with my experience at the hair gallery, I came in for a cut and colour and it wasn’t a simple job whatsoever, also after not going to a hairdressers in over 3 years i was quite nervous letting someone else touch my hair but Ruby did so amazingly and i left feeling confident in my new hair!
